The 6 Reasons Why I'm in Love With In-N-Out

1. Quality is everything. At In-N-Out, their motto is literally "Quality You Can Taste", and it couldn't be more true. Making things the old fashioned way, there is no freezing, pre-packaging, or over-processing. Made fresh to order only with the best high-quality ingredients, you can rest assured that you are eating a darn good burger. In-N-Out-ingredients Source: cisl.edu 2. The menu is SO simple. I don't know about you, but I like my burgers fast and simple. Super hungry? Order that #1. Looking for a smaller meal? Go for #2. Don't like cheese? That's where there is #3. Add some extra fries and maybe swap out your drink for a shake and you are good to go! Never been easier. IN-N-OUT_BURGER_MENU_BOARD Source: mywanderinglife.com 3. But...there is also a secret menu if you want to get crazy. Haven't heard of the secret menu yet? Well then you are missing out. With names like Flying Dutchman, Animal Style, and Protein Style, these burgers and fries are the way to go if you like to mix it up a little bit or have specific dietary restrictions. What kind of other burger place can you indulge your cheesy fantasies or follow your Atkins diet while still loving the same product? 20110228-in-n-out-secret-menu - 27 Source: seriouseats.com 4. Their employees are amazing and the customer service always comes with a smile. Going to In-N-Out is like visiting an old friend every time. They ask how your day is, cater to your needs, laugh and joke, and always top it off with a huge smile. Along with that outfit - who doesn't like seeing an adult in a huge diaper pin and a sweet hat? Have you ever been at an event, say pool or beach party, and thought...wow I could really use a double double right now? Well guess what? YOU CAN. One of the best days of my life was when I first saw an In-N-Out catering truck. They pull right up to your event, open the doors to their food truck, and still cook your burger fresh to order any way you want it. Why BBQ when you can have the incomparable taste of In-N-Out? Unless you live in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, or Texas, California is the only other place that you can consume these beautiful burgers. With most of it's locations in the Golden State, here on the West Coast we have no limit to how many times a day we can enjoy a delicious shake or some crispy fresh fries. One of the many pluses to living in California! tumblr_lp29ukvm4M1qz5n0no2_500 Source: sanfrancisco.grubstreet.com

Dude, I'm a California Local.

Whether you have lived in California all of your life, or you have only seen portrayals on television, most people know how a California local is stereotyped. With relaxed demeanors and a chill personalities, California creates a culture all of it's own. We natives may say "like" enough to get made fun of and can sometimes seem a bit TOO relaxed, but we are honestly just always about enjoying life and having a good time. Watch Saturday Night Live's hilarious take on the local California bro...we especially think the part about starting a clothing line is entertaining ;)

Snowboarding in the Desert?

So everybody knows that you can go both surfing and snowboarding all in one day in California. But did you know that you could also throw in Desert boarding? You definitely would need a few extra toys to get the job done, but check out how these guys did some shredding on the dunes of Glamis. Source: Network A Youtube Channel

Cool runnings: 20 music must-haves for your next race

With the wintry and biting cold-ish weather coming to an end, it won’t be long before the sidewalks, the parks, the shorelines, and the off-road trails are teeming with members of California’s considerably active running community. And whether you’re gearing up for an easy-peasy 5K, an ambitious 10K, a what-was-I-thinking half-marathon (that’s 13.1 miles!), or the goal of all goals, the big kahuna, the distance reserved only for the disciplined and determined also known as the marathon* (26.2 miles), you will need all the help you can get to psych yourself up for the training prior to race day. And what better way to get the party started than with awesome tunage? Creating an effective soundtrack for running is a science – you have to have the right balance of old hits and new, with a fair mix of slow songs (so you still have some beats when you’re catching your breath) and up-tempo tracks (when you’re ready to show your fellow runners what your legs are made of). It’s also part math: You need to make sure your entire playlist is long enough time-wise to carry you to the finish line. Lastly, it’s an art – not only do you want your songs to have a catchy beat, you want them to have a lyric or a phrase with a message of sorts, one that makes you want to go and hit the ground running. Without further ado, here are 20 awesome anthems to get you properly amped for your run (Total Running Time: 1 hour, 14 minutes): *ultra-marathons are actually longer than marathons, in case you wanted to liquefy your legs ;-)

The Mammoth mountains are calling!

"Winter" in California will soon be wrapping up, and everybody knows what that means! Only a few more chances to grab your boards (the other ones) and head up to Mammoth for some fresh powder, sun, and shredding. A short drive from anywhere in Cali, Mammoth mountain will make you forget that you are even on the West Coast. With it's beautiful scenery, amazing resorts, and plenty of runs to choose from, it's a guaranteed good time. Source: Boardworld Youtube Channel
